Updated Covid Policy
The Toy Library Committee have undertaken a comprehensive risk assessment about how to best keep our staff, volunteers and families safe. We have updated our Covid-19 response plan and policies.
In addition to our usual Covid precautions, we have decided that at Red and Orange settings of the Covid Protection Framework (traffic light) we will be requiring everyone over 12 who comes into the Toy Library to be fully vaccinated. This includes all staff, volunteers, members and visitors.
Any unvaccinated families can choose to arrange contactless pick up of toys, pause their membership until we're into green or receive a refund. Please get in touch if this is you and we can discuss a way forward.
General Precautions:
- Masks required for staff and visitors at Red and Orange (encoraged at Green)
- Capacity limits based on 1m distancing within the space (Red and Orange).
- All staff and visitors must sign the NZ Covid Tracer QR code for both the Toy Library and for Howick Presbytarian Church on entry. These will be prominently displayed.
- Unwell members requested not to come into library, renew toys by phone, text, email or facebook
- Hand sanitizer is available
- Members are expected to clean toys prior to return.
- Toys will be quarantined for one week before returning to shelves at Red.
