As part of a new initiative to improve security and avoid scams, banks are starting to implement a system to check that the payee account name and account number match when making payments.
Please update your saved online banking information with our full correct details.
We have sent an email to all current members and there are posters up in the Library with our full account name and number.
Reminder we accept payments by bank transfer or cash only. We don't have eftpos or credit card facilities.

What a great year it has been for the Toy Library, we are so lucky to have so many wonderful families as part of our Library!! Thank you all!!
A special shoutout and thanks to all of our volunteers and our Librarians. Your hard work makes all the difference for our Library.
Each year we shut down over the summer holidays.
This summer our last day will be Thursday 19th December 2024.
We'll be back on Thursday 30th January 2025.
Special holiday rate for the long break: pay for four weeks and keep playing for 6+ weeks!!
All toys loaned after 6 December 2024 will be due back by 4th February 2024.
During this time our volunteers who reply to your emails and social media messages are also away so responses will be delayed too, please be patient with us while we spend summer with our families too.
New Membership Rules
ExpiredAt our recent Annual General Meeting, members voted to update the Membership Rules for the Toy Library.
The general principals in the rules are the same as before. The key changes we have made are:
- to simplify and update the language;
- to remove obsolete references (for example, we no longer accept payment by cheque or operate a demerit system); and
- to add reference to new systems including our online Toy Library software SETLS.
The next time you visit you will be asked to confirm that you have read and agree to the terms of the new Membership Rules.

Exciting news!!
Starting Thursday 12 October 2023 The Toy Library will be open on Thursday evenings from 6.30pm to 8pm.
We are running this as a trial for the whole of Term 4 to see if its popular enough to keep doing it permanently.
So if this sounds like something you've been waiting for, please pop in and check out something different.
We are hoping that this will add more flexibility and suit families who find it difficult to get to our Monday and Saturday sessions. Or maybe those who want to visit when it’s a bit quieter and to take their time to browse the shelves once the kids are in bed!!
Let us know what you think and how its working for you. This is a trial so we're looking for feedback, please have a chat with our new Librarian Sarah on Thursdays or with Caro on our regular Mondays and Saturday sessions.
Update October 2024 - We have been running Thursday evening for one year now and it has been fantastically popular!!
We have decided that Thursday evenings will be a permanent feature of our opening hours!
Annual Members Meeting 2023
ExpiredOur Annual Members Meeting (aka the 'AGM') is a chance for all members to have your say on important decisions around how the Toy Library is run, and who runs it. Your input is crucial for the continuous operation of the Toy Library.
This year’s meeting will be held on Saturday 9th September 2023 at 1pm.
Please join us in person in the Library. We will provide snacks and drinks. Kids are welcome to come, we will have a play area set up.

We will be electing the committee and will be discussing changes to membership and hire fees.
Our constitution allows members to be represented by a proxy vote at the AGM to form a quorum (the minimum number of members required to attend).
