Come and celebrate Matariki at the Toy Library!
 
At this time of reflections and new beginnings we are holding an Open Day at the Library to celebrate our wonderful new location and to welcome new families to visit and experience the magic of the Toy Library for themselves.
 
We will have a toy sale, competitions and lots of toys out to play with including our new bouncy castle (under 4s only).
 
Bring along all of your friends, everyone who joins on the day will receive free toy hire that week.

Exciting news!! We've upgraded our database!!!

Thanks to a generous grant from the Lotteries Grants Board we are now able to upgrade our membership and toy system to a fancy cloud based system called SETLS.

You can log in and see which toys you have on loan, renew them or browse our whole catalogue from the comfort of your couch!!

Please bear with us while we figure out how things work and get everything all set up.
Next time you come in, we will confirm your email and other details and you will be sent a login to the new system!!

Updated Covid Policy

The Toy Library Committee have undertaken a comprehensive risk assessment about how to best keep our staff, volunteers and families safe. We have updated our Covid-19 response plan and policies. 


In addition to our usual Covid precautions,  we have decided that at Red and Orange settings of the Covid Protection Framework (traffic light) we will be requiring everyone over 12 who comes into the Toy Library to be fully vaccinated. This includes all staff, volunteers, members and visitors.

We are very excited to announce that the Toy Library will be moving into Howick Presbyterian Church in January 2022.
 
Our lease at Trugood Drive has come to an end and the landlord is redeveloping so we have to leave the site where we have been for the last 19 years.
 
We are really looking forward to this new partnership with Howick Presbyterian Church and to welcoming you to our new home.
